Hi! I chose to make a site for the band "The Happy Fits". They're an Indie Rock Band from New Jersey. They've been one of my favorite bands for years and have been on in the background while I did most of my work!

Hi Percy,

I really like your second design homepages. The white and vibrant blue color give a good contrast, I would go with that homepage. But I do like the pages regarding the information of the band from your first set of designs. I think the different slabs of color look good and they help separate each area. If you go with the first set of your homepage design I would recommend making the text white for "about" and "albums" that way they pop off more.

Hiiii Percy,

I'm vibing the most with your first layout. I think the colors are fun and is totally selling the "fruit" vibe. I also love your buttons on both, they look very inviting to click on.

I think the straight caps font on the body text is a bit hard to read, and that orange font on the bright blue background hurts to read ;-;. The rest of the colors work so nice together though!

Hi Percy,
Your prelim made me smile. I used to listen to them a lot way back in their EP days! I think that out of both of your designs, your first design represents them best as a band. I have to agree with most of our peers that say that the body text is hard to read. Since blue and orange are complimentary colors, they’re extremely eye-catching together, but it’s not optimal for background and text. I would make the body text all black or perhaps even experiment with white text to see how it looks. I like where you’re headed with this, and I think you did a great job with capturing the essence of the band. I’m looking forward to seeing the end result.

I like the homepage layout on your first deign a lot. I like the colors your chose for your layout, they all pop and work well together. Also the information is very easy to read and navigate. Also, the imagery you chose for your first deign flows well with the color choices. Great job!

It has a very clear feeling that comes off, I really like the theme in both. The one I'm leaning towards more is the first one I really like the color combinations you use and how you place them together to create a dynamic layout one thing i do suggest is it's kind of hard to read with the capitals and bold especially with the colorful backgrounds. It looks amazing!

I really like your first design. I think the use of the black with the bright color on top really stands out. One thing I think you could do to improve the site would be to try and incorporate the colors from your alternate page into your home page. I think this would help tie the separate pages together.

The first design is very lovely and colorful! I really enjoy it, I really think you should go for that one, but I do believe adding a photo of the band in the first set of designs would go a long way. Great designs overall.
