LaTara, your site has a polished look to it. Reponsive is all working-Way to go!
Thank you for respectfuly using alt tags for people with vision challenges.
You could put in the meta tag keywords. I think the blue content boxes on left are misleading because users are trained that left is for clickable nav bars, yet they are not navs.
I like the way the colors, fun pictures, and food brings community to my mind. You can be proud of the work you did and the outcome!

Hello LaTara,
I like the colors you chose for this website; they work well with the images used.
Something I would fix is if you are on the contact page you are unable to click on the Gallery Page options, there may be something not linked correctly for that.
Great work!

Hi LaTara,

Absolutely amazing responsiveness! I love how everything converts into a narrow layout without having to sacrifice shrinking down photos. I also like how there is a nice hierarchy of elements established throughout each page, it really motivates me to continue scrolling down if I have the window minimized. My only nitpick I would have to say are with the 4 turquoise tabs hovering underneath the header of each page, I understand that they are probably there to be potential subpages if the website's development was carried out further, thus I get why they do not link to other pages, but having them not react in anyway when I try clicking on them sort of throws me off a little. I wish that they would at least light up similarly to hovering your mouse over the options in the navigation above, and/or light up when actually clicked on. But that's only the real small gripe I have since everything else is amazingly well done, professional even! Honestly, looking over this minor detail, I truly think that you have a real knack for web design and would love to see your following work :D !

Hi LaTara,
Great job! I love your drop down menu for your gallery pages. Everything looks very clear, clean, and professional. I have to admit that I accidentally tried to click on the content boxes located on the left side of the screen multiple times before realizing that they weren’t buttons. I just think that they look too much like buttons and would be better placed as words in the footer area perhaps. Other than that, really solid work and super responsive. Great job!

Hi LaTara,
Your website is set up really well, looks very professional. I like the dropdown menu you included for your gallery, that is a nice addition. Also, I think your color choices for your website work well together and give it a good overall feel. Great job

LaTara,
I like the combination of the teal and beige colors in your website; they give it a classic, homey feel. I think the use of a subtle pattern on top of the beige or teal would have given it a nice texture. The cutout of Julia Child on the homepage is very cute. I like how you used figcaptions on your images.
