Re: Project 1 roughs
Gwendolyn, I like how you're trying to be different with the navigation bar. I never really seen either on websites. It would be difficult to accomplish because so many other websites out there use the "stapled" top nav bar or left nav bar. But if I had to pick one, I'd chose your first d...

Re: Project 1 Very Roughs
Kirsten, First and foremost, I like the logo. The fish inside the text - knocked out - is creative and cute. I can even see maybe adding a nibble bite on the H or something. (I don't know if fish nibble) I like your first design because the color scheme pops with fun and excitement - just like fish...

Re: Project 1 Roughs
Nikki, Both sites are clean and have great navigation going on - very professional. I love that in a website, if I have to struggle to know what's going on, I close out. Kudos to that. Design one - great layout, big and bold but the best is the related items at bottom. However, I love the transpare...

Re: project 1 prelim critique magic
Vicki, I like the first design. You can't sell potions without the visual feel. You are a very good illustrator. I'd crop in a little more on the castle, and crop out sky and dirt - just a little. I like the goth type for logo, but not so much for nav bars - unless you make the type bigger. Maybe u...

Re: project 1 roughs
Zackary, I think both concepts for website are awesome. I had to laugh at imaginary friend. I think it's a hot idea and could go places. So of course, I pick that idea. You have so much possibilities to create using this concept. I don't know if you picked blue color scheme to play off the Facebook...

Re: Project 1 Roughs
Denise, Wassup homie! I like the first design - showing the four elements. The photos intrigue me and I like how the inside pages are light and easy to read. You break up the type in small paragraph forms which make it super simple to read and understand. The second design - the logo and the title ...

Re: project1_roughs
Ryan, Forgive me in advance if I miss the concept, but it's about cyborgs, yes? I even looked up the meaning and I dig the concept of your site. I like the font and color scheme of the first design because it does give a hint of futuristic. However, I like the second design based on the overlapping...

Re: Project 1 roughs
Joe, I like both sites, but if I HAD to pick one - it would be the second design. It is about the product, and as you know - we are designing a site for a product. I like your use of hierarchy with the fonts - big and bold for the important stuff. Your use of color and content make me want to know ...

Re: Project 1 Roughs
Kaycee, I love big photos because it brings the viewer into that particular mood of the picture is setting, so nicely done. I like the pastel color scheme and modern navigation of the second design. When I visit a site, I want to know exactly where I am and where I can go - your second design does ...

Re: Project 1 Roughs
Amy, I like your website concept. I get a friendly, honest and "homey" feel to the business. Your website is geared toward people who love horses and just want the best equipment for riding them at an affordable price. The readability of your type on both websites are a little difficult t...
