Re: project one comps

I really like the (home and menu comp 1). I love the blue colors and think they would work great with some detailed imagery of some of the dishes like you have in comp 3 and 4.

Very nice work!

Re: project one critique

Both are great but the serious one is by far the coolest. Great job on the logo, the type goes well with it. I get that you are going for a simplistic and clean look, but there seems to be something missing. I can’t tell you what it is because I know you don’t want to distract from the artistry of t...

Re: project 1 roughs

I’m enjoying the one with the badge logo and the roadway. And I like how your inner page shows the side of the road instead of the same background as the home page. It makes it feel like the highway is the store and you pull over to window shop along the side of the road. Clever! The logo has great ...

Re: Project 1 Roughs

I would say, stick with the second rough. I like the red design work you have done with the header. Maybe try and use the bonsai silhouette from the gallery page of your first rough into the home page of the second rough. Mess around with the scaling, but definitely keep the red design work. Very Ni...

Re: This is happening....

I checked out the link and I think this would be an excellent idea.

I have to go with version 1. I like the line work that you use to describe the color options. More cutting edge and fits more with the product you are selling.

Can’t wait to see how it turns out.

Re: Project 1 roughs DCC

I definitely feel more at peace with your second rough. The background of the chakra is very pleasant and delivers the message of what the site is all about. The three cherry blossom branches in the upper left corner need to be a little more staggered from each other so that it appears more natural....

Re: Project One - Ashleigh Porterfield

I like your color schemes on both, very playful and youthful for a revenge concept.

The vector graphics are put together well on the bottle/jars. You could apply the same style of artistry throughout the site in places that need a little more imagery.

Good Job!

Re: Project One Roughs

I think the logo of rough 1 with the up close image of the camera itself from rough 2, could be really nice. I also like the buttons in rough 2. Possibly in red since you seem to be running with the complementary color scheme. I’m not too sure about the texture on your logo though. Not saying it doe...

Re: Rough Ideas Project 1

The site is great for photography. Elegant, vivid imagery really helps push the services you are trying to provide. The overlap of the type on the home page is interesting, but the padding or margins seem to be all over the place. It could use a little more uniform spacing to give it more structure....
