Project 3 Final
After lots of headaches and cussing...and lots of help from Michael...I have finished project 3. I didn't do any of the jQuery-ui stuff on it (it just didn't seem to need any. I am going to put that in my 'learn-to-do-better' file and work with it as I have time.), but...I learned a lot about media ...

Re: Project 3 Roughs
I like the color blocks in the Aaron Draplin set and the openness of the Olly Moss set. You say you like them both for their use of color and negative space...in the Aaron one you have the color and in the Olly one you have the negative space. I would be inclined to combine the two to showcase what ...

Re: Project 3 Roughs
I am really enjoying the set you marked as version 2. The use of the colors really sets off the pop art feel that he is famous for. The monotone home page is interesting and professional looking...but, except for his pic, it just doesn't shout 'Andy Warhol" to me.

Re: Project 3 Roughs
I prefer the colors and layout of rough 1 over the other 2. On the home page, I think making the pictures larger and the text area smaller would bring out his designs better. The second page is pretty text heavy and being spread across the whole page is uncomfortable to read. You might consider brea...

Re: project3 roughs
I don't know about the job app form, it just looks so cold and boring. It would need some spectacular eye-catching typography to make it come alive. The first one is interesting though with your links spread throughout the circles.

Re: project 3 roughs
Both of them are nicely done. I find version 2 more interesting, though. It has more texture to it and the pic of the artist sends out the "Hey...Look at me!" message very clearly.

preliminary roughs
Preliminary roughs for project 3. The first set is pretty straight-forward and only has the 4 roughs needed (2 for the home page...1 pc size, 1 phone size & 2 for an inner page...1 pc size, 1 phone size). For the second set, I have 4 for the home page and 2 for an inner page. I was working with ...

Re: Project 2 Final
It's looking pretty good, but the drop-down menus are still distracting. I also think you could either do without the borders around the product pics or make them fancier. Right now they are just blah.

Re: Final... Kind of
I still like your overall design and layout, but it is hard to say how it is going to be overall until you get your catalog links fixed.
Good Luck!

Re: Project 2 Final
Looks good! The only thing I am missing is a 'continue shopping' button in the cart so that I don't have to use the back button to shop some more.
