Re: Project 1 Roughs by FJBO
Love the image login screen! I prefer your first layout, because I like what you're doing with shadows and highlights, I think this has a stronger navigation too, rather than the blocks in the second layout design. If you want to add in a highlight color anywhere, I think that blue in your image rea...

Re: Project 1 Roughs
I think the first layout is a bit more basic, haha. I'd remove the grey content background and just allow the black type on the blank background to speak for itself. I'd also swap out the social media links for ones designed in flat black to mesh better with your design. Like Michael, I'm not really...

Re: Project 1 Roughs
I think the neon green design is the one that stands out the most, while the red and black can get a bit difficult to read with the white shadows. The "C" in "Co." gets a little lost in the green of the logo too, so I'd move that over just a bit or make the text weight heavier. I...

Re: Project 1 Roughs
I like the easy navigation design in rough one. I think it draws more attention to your logo as well. The only thing I would worry about is contrast. So far everything is really light and in the same range as far as shade, maybe break out some bolder darker color for contrast or add some shadows?

Re: Project 1 Roughs
I like the vintage colors of your first design, but I absolutely love the brick texture and the webpage layout in the second. The colors in your second design are very lovely in a fresh spring time way, but I'd be really interested to see the vintage colors from the first design incorporated into th...

Re: Project 1 Roughs
Of the two, I think the first one is more fun, while the second looks more business-like and professional with the grey. So since you have such a fun product, I have to go with the first design. (Love the cheeky tag line, by the way! Made me laugh!) I think the look is really clean and contemporary,...

Re: Project One- Roughs
I like how you designed this webpage as one big piece rather than several disjointed pages. Rough one is my favorite, because I can pretty much see a really successful smooth scrolling on it already, and it already seems prepared to be adjusted for a fluid layout. The colors are really strong as wel...

Re: Project 1 roughs
I have to go with your first design for the home page. The bold color and geometric layout are very attention grabbing, and the heart of the companion cube as the focal point of your home page is a really nice touch. It looks like something that will be a really fun fluid design as well, and you hav...

Re: Project 1 Roughs
I prefer the second design. I really love your logo, and I think this one just does more cool things with type and color. The typeface reminds me of old typewriters and newsprints, and the things you're doing with color blocking and layout with the images is really creative. I would however watch so...
