Hello I'm Kiwako.
Here is my final : http://www.grc275.com/student/spring_2015/kiwako_miura/
In my design, I wanted to use a lot of photos so I tried to design it simple as much as I can.
So, it looks like not busy.
I also made a logo.
I just wanna let you know my third page, Find page, is very rough
So I will DEFINITELY change the design.

I really love your website looks so professional and makes me want some coffee! Nice clean and simple I like it! I like all the images too. My suggestion for improvement is your logo it looks really nice but is kind of hard to read what it says, make it much bigger!! It looks great!

Nice work Kiwako! The design is very pleasing and now I want a cup of coffee! I like the type between the images very nice look. I agree that the logo could be a bit larger. I can't read the small type.

Hi Kiwako!! Wow! This site looks professional, well-balanced, organized, color scheme fits perfect together, and the imagery makes me want coffee lol So with all of this being said you pretty much have me sold on your product...so good job! Exactly what your site should do...basically sell itself. One thing that I would suggest it to make your logo a little bigger in the top left corner and at the bottom. Otherwise, I can't wait to see your progress! Awesome Job!!

This is amazing! Really good and clean work. You always do so well picking your imagery, and making sure they all match and appear the same. I think this would really benefit from a soft, subtle background, for some reason I'm picturing a light blue-gray/teal-gray. Also, I adore your logo, but it's getting a bit lost at the top sitting on that dark background. If the photo wasn't so dark in the corner it would look great, but because it is, I think you should have it sitting on its own, and maybe bigger too so we can see the works on it. Great work!

Great job! You tied all of the images with very pleasing colors and made great font choices. The only thing that kind of bothers me is the 'learn" page the images on the bottom seem to have a distracting filter on them? They seem a little greyed out, otherwise I really like the design.

Mmmmmm. I can smell the beans roasting from here.
Great use of photography throughout the website. It really helps establish what this website is about and helps project a warm feeling. The navigation is large and easy to use, and I like the concept of the photographic secondary nav, even if it isn't functional as yet. The design is a clean layout that presents the photos and text (what little there is of it) well. Good work on the logo as well. I can picture a metal version of it hanging off the front of a coffee shop.
My only real issue is the color scheme. I think it would have benefitted from a warmer colorscheme, perhaps browns and greens. Right now it's too cold and sterile and you want a coffee website to be a bit more warm and inviting. Also, I agree with you, your find page is a little scattered. I think the navigation is also slightly too far right and would look better a letter width to the left.
Nice effort!

Hi Kiwako,
I love your coffer idea.
I don't drink coffee and your photos make me want one
Love your logo, that looks good but it kind of blends in with your picture.
Maybe make it lighter or place it on a lighter part of the photo so it stands out.
Otherwise looks very good.
Great Job.

I like this, very clean, very you. I can easily see this being responsive. Im wondering if your home page had links on the photos to the individual pages as well as the navigation at the top just to make it easier to navigate.
Design may be king, but typography is the crown.
