P1 Final -JJ

Post by JonathonJ »

Here is my website, It's a little different than what I had originally...

I've been playing with it being responsive, once i got the home page, i made the rest....
But i had issues, not sure where it broke, but its still kinda functional.

[s]Kinda[/s] Function site: http://www.grc275.com/student/spring_20 ... index.html

[s]Actual Responsive Site (solo home page): http://www.grc275.com/student/spring_20 ... esponsive/[/s]

Hopefully I'll get it figured out...

EDIT: I'm pretty sure that I fixed it! Also, my pages are "HOME" "ABOUT" "CONTACT"

Really great website design. I really like the logo! And the animated moving images at the top of the website! Really high quality images really nice. I kind of went whaaaat when I went to the about page and saw a bunch of bird images without reading the information haha I was like "ins't this a stationary supply website" haha but cousin Felipe! lol.

Nice, clean design and logo. Aside from a couple of typos, it looks good.

Hi Jonathon Good Job on your Project 1 Website! I like the photo gallery on the home and a couple others, you simplistic color scheme and layout is easy to navigate through. Your logo turned out good, as well. I have a couple suggestions for you...the red footer on the bottom is very distracting...I would consider making the width, logo & social media buttons smaller, as well. It takes your attention away from the page. and Another suggestion I have is is on your homepage I would make it more unique from your other pages so it stands out not blends in. Otherwise, nice job

Great work! I love the little bits of humor you put in there too. I think both your color choices and fonts compliment each other nicely. It's visually very clean and easy to navigate, and that little bird logo really fits with your concept. My only suggestion is for your products, maybe include some way of distinguishing each one, even if its just a little divider line, right now I feel like they're just floating. Or have the products and its information in boxes, that alternate colors. Hope that makes sense!

That is a great site! I like the hierarchy of the design it flows nicely and the colors fit well together. You have a good type choice as well. The bird makes it a little crazy and the humor is fun! Did you use wow slider or something for the image slider?

Ooooh nice work on the responsive design! Nice indeed.

It's got a clean, easy to follow layout that moves the eye around well. The navigation is large without being overpowering. The design uses contrast well, both in the black and white sense and using the brushed metal pattern as a stage. Good use of color as a point of highlight throughout the design. The red really draws the eye without really competing with the images. Good job on the form as well. Is that a functional CAPTCHA I spy?

The only things I don't care fore are the underlined navigational type (I think the boldness and typeface would have carried the navigation just fine) and the size of the social media icons (at half the size, they'd still be as strong).

A great example of pushing the knowledge envelope. Good work!
