Bug Zappers Final
Re: Bug Zappers Final
You have achieved a good look with this site. I really like all the characters you have created and the overall theme. The ones off to the right are way cool btw. Some thoughts on improving are:
Add some line height to the text. It feels a bit smashed. Overall I dont like how to site rides on the left edge of the browser. It would be cool if you extended the left like you did on the right and just centered the site. Every left aligned site I run into drives me bananas to look at. Apart from that stuff its a great site.
did what you had on the right and did something like that for the left then just have the site centered.

Great look to your site. I only have a couple suggestions. I would try to center your content in a container, the left align is a little off putting on larger screens. Also you have so many images the page load is rather slow. overall good job

Fabulous, love the bold rich colors and the fun illustrations and typography. The only thing that bothered me was all the black empty space to the right.

I love this site! Great concept.. I really like the color scheme you went with, as well as your typography. Nice work.

Good website. I like the overall look and theme as well as the color scheme. Some of the pictures take a little long to load and I think some places can be cleaned up a little as it can be a lot of information and pictures all at once, but those are minor suggestions. Good job

Har! Now THERE'S a concept. Just for that, I gave you a bug zapper avatar.
An excellent job communicating the off the wall vibe of your brand via layout, design, typography and some bizarre skeeter cartoons. The page is easy to navigate and follow. And the easter eggs never fail to amuse. Great use of color and contrast. I'm still chuckling at those skeeters.
I've only got a couple of issues with it. One, it's massive. If this site is not viewed on a super high res computer you have to scroll all over the place to see anything. Ideally it should either be liquid or responsive to the size of the viewing device (which I will be showing you how to do at the end of the semester). Two, I'd put the navigation in the night sky in the upper right as it gets cut off in it's current location on some lower res application.
Good work ... or something.
