I love your geometric shapes! Super modern and cool.
Okay now for the critique part.
- I think you need a ENTER HERE or something near the cupcake logo so we know to click to see the menu.
- Home goes back to the "splash" page when it should go where you can still see the menu
- The purple stripe is off on the home and splash page, (looks like something is hiding)
- and all your body copy is indented. Not sure if you wanted that or not?
- Finally, way to make me super hungry and wish we actually had a cupcake bar downtown. Especially when theres the wine walk :P

- Time isn’t a straight line. It’s all… bumpy-wumpy. There’s loads of boring stuff. Like Sundays and Tuesdays and Thursday afternoons. But now and then there are Saturdays. Big temporal tipping points when anything’s impossible.

I like your start. You NEED to center this thing though. Right aligned is driving me crazy. I like the changing headers on the pages you have done. Totally need to continue that as you create the rest of the site. Add some more color. Get that purple from the nav all over the place. Its very grey and black which is not very good. Also make your facebook and twitter logos match. you can find tons of free sets out there to use. I like IcoMoon just google it. Lets you make icon fonts or just download the icons and its free. Also whats going on with the margin at the top. No real need to have that much white at the top of the page.

Glad to see you use the second design from preliminary. It turned out very nicely. I don't understand what the purple line on the bottom of each content is for though :| I like your website the way it is right now, if you want to get rid of the white space on the top like Kyle have stated, maybe you can add another diamond shape somewhere on the top and overlap it with your container, something like the diamond you have on the bottom right.

Nice job! : ) I'm also glad you picked your second design. I am viewing your site from a PC so it is rather large but I know my site is also having viewing problems in other browsers.

Nice website. I like the overall design. I think making the picture complete and not having those sharp corners might help because my eyes automatically go straight there. I think I would also change the purple highlight color as I think another neutral color might work better. Good job

An interesting idea. I really like where you're going with this one.

It has a very unique look and feel. Almost an urban coffee bar feeling. I like the use of semi transparent squares and rectangles as design elements. It seems to compliment it's logo rather well. Lots of illustrative pictures throughout that nicely express the sites theme and vibe. Good use of accent colors throughout as well.

Just a couple of issues that I can see. One, it's massive. Utterly, utterly massive. On anything, but a rather high resolution display, you have to do quite a bit of scrolling to get around. Ideally it should be either liquid or responsive to the display device (I'm teaching you guys this shortly). Also, I'm not keen about the image in location clipping the header text. It looks cluttered.

Good work.

I think you should add more of the diamond theme to the design. The checker board pattern reminds me of a restaurant or food service place. I dont think the grey is working. I see cupcakes and bright, colorful and fun. the grey is a little off. I like the navigation and how you see through to the background image. Good work as always.
