Did a bit of changes from my last design. I might add more to the design as the class goes along but for now I think it's good for this project.
Let me know what you guys think!

Im digging the color scheme. I think that your background kind of abruptly ends, same with the photo. I think that could use a border or something. I can show you if you want how to get a more seamless background? Or you can try and have the gradient come in more so its softer to the grey? But ya, Its cute. Cant wait to see some epic staches!

Love the color and texture. I wish the typography matched. There is sooo much cool typographic things you could do with this vintage design. Also consider loosing the backgrounds on the images
Re: Project 1 Final
Seems a bit unfinished but I like where it is going. Instead of black and white start thinking of a color for accents. It is a little bland at the moment. This could be a cool site. Only other thing you should be thinking about is how are you going to add more links for and extra requirements for project 2 and 3

I like your images and the overall nostalgic look of the site. I think it would look better if the text was broken up into multiple paragraphs or columns and it didn't get so close to the images.
Re: Project 1 Final
Funny site! I like your color scheme and the navigations for the website, to me, they go well together.
I have a few suggestions though...it seems like you have a background image for the container and a background image for the content area, maybe instead of having the content image as a background, try have it as an image within the content area?...Also like Kristin have said, the text is a bit close to the image, try adding some margin to it...
Love what you're selling though, very funny and entertaining.

I like your website idea. It is coming along well. I really enjoy your nave bar hover images. I think you need to add a little color to your site.

Good job on the site. I like the feel of it. It takes a little bit to load your background, so I might want to fix that. I think I would also push your site down a little as it is very top heavy right now. Good job.

Hm. A really fun concept.
I really like the use of moustaches as design elements. It brings a smile to my face. The site is very simple (a little too simple perhaps) and easy to navigate. The couple of photos there are are very evocative, but there need to be more. I really like the 'stache rollover buttons. Maybe use a couple of different 'staches for the over states.
I think it could really use more photographs and some sort of texture in the background that makes it look like it's printed on paper. Also, loose the gray and go for more of a sepia/paper color. I'm a little disappointed you didn't make it a bit more like your conceptual art. You had this detailed victorian magazine look going and I think this website is missing that. It seems too simple and clean. From your roughs, I was looking more for something that looked a bit like a turn of the century newspaper ad.
Good things going on here. Build on it.

I personally am a fan of mustaches. So I like the navigation but I wish something would tell me what page im on trough the navigation. I like the color scheme it coincides with the sort of wild west or twenties type photography and style. Good Job!
