Porject 01 Roughs
I wasn't sure if I was supposed to add the thumbnails or the other paperwork so i'll just submit it at 10/11/24 with some other files.

Hello Aub,
Thank you for sharing your work with us. I think that you are off to a good start with your website. Both versions are creative and I look forward to seeing the final version. I would like to give a little suggestion regarding the color scheme...With the gray background, I would use a darker color such as a black or navy blue instead of white, because it would make the text easier to read. Also, we are missing your brainstorming and thumbnail information to know what you were thinking and how your website is predicted to appear in the final version. Other than that, your rough drafts look good.

Hi, Aubrey
I really like your first layout. It gives lots of character, pleasing to look at, and I definitely want to learn more about Eric.
I think the link buttons can have a bit more depth and give the viewer a reason to click on them.
Looking forward to the rest!

Hello! I love the creative direction you're going in right now for this website! I really enjoy the version with the green mountains in the background. Those roughs really pop off and showcase what you're trying to get across.

Hi Aubrey,
The creator of Stardew Valley! What a great choice! I think that your first design with the mountains is the best fit for the creator. It’s fun and captures the essence of the game. To help your body text really stand out and not get buried in the background image's details, I suggest maybe blurring the background image on all pages other than the homepage. Other than that, I think you’re off to a wonderful start.

I love the first design a bit more since it has the graphics of Stardew Valley! Its one of my favorite games to play,
and that pop of color would make everything fit the vibes rather than the modern gray. One thing that could work
is incorporating some colors that would make the text a bit more legible, or to add a black overlay box behind the
textbox so you can still see the background. The colors are great, but since they're bright like the game, white with a saturated background is iffy to read.
Overall I love who you're doing, and I'm excited to see this come to life! Great job

Hey Aub,
I love Stardew Valley and I like your first design a lot. There’s a lot of color going on which makes it fun just like the game. The second design is a little too serious and dull for someone who made a really fun and colorful game. Also for the first design, make sure to put some sort of box behind the text so the text doesn’t get hard to read on that stardew valley background.

Hi Aubrey!
I love Stardew!! I much prefer the first design you have. It better captures the heart and feel of the game and makes our lovely developer seem so happy and inviting! I think the black of the subhead in the first mobile design should be white like the body, just perhaps bolder.
Have a good night!

Aub,
It is always your choice to make the final decision.
You have lowered your 'readability' if you choose a light text with a mid grey background-I wouldn't if you choose that version.
At first, I was unclear which is the 'smart phone' version.
I love the character page, nice spacing and interesting colors. Of course, the color version is the best.
