Hello Genevieve!
I think that both of your versions are great. The colors are warm and very coffee related. Although both versions are good, I love the second version with the blue a little more. You're definitely off to a nice start. I can't wait to see the finished product!

Hey Genevieve,
Love, love, love the designs and colors done for these concepts! The logo is beautifully crafted and the fonts chosen blend well with each other, but still have a strong sense of hierarchy to them that makes it enticing to scroll through. I honestly think that after a few more little adjustments, you will have the final design for your website completed! Because again, it honestly looks so close to being on par to real professional website designs!
In a way, I can imagine your website working best in a mobile format since the "Events" page in both concepts are pretty long. However, the coffee streaming downwards in the second concept motivates me to continue scrolling rather than the first since it does not have anything [visually] telling me that I can continue moving down throughout the page; I also think that by having the two concepts presented next to each other just proves all the more reason as to why the second concept looks more finalized and engaging rather than the first one. But my only suggestion to improve on this aspect is to make the gradient on the coffee stream more obvious and starting near the middle, and using a drop shadow to make it overlap the rest of the page's contents.
But other than that, I really do not have anything else much to add besides saying how much I enjoy the look of these concepts. And If I hadn't said it already, amazing work!

Hi Genevieve,
How cool! This definitely an event that I would love to attend. I’m leaning towards more for your second design as it really puts your wonderful logo at the front and center of your page. Your colors are solid and you have a fun layout that makes your website very visually interesting. I would love to see more photos on your layout so we can see more of what we can expect to see at the event. Overall great job! You have a solid concept and I’m looking forward to seeing your final design.

Genevieve!
I love your colors, I feel like I'm existing ins coffee shop just looking at it!! It feels like it's meant be held in the dead of winter explicitly during a snow storm or in the middle of fall with the leaves still falling. Either way I love it! Your don't choices and colors are perfect!

Hi Genevieve,
I love both layouts and colors; it's a friendly atmosphere for the brew bash. The flow of the coffee is a really cool concept, and I'd love it if you went for it! It really helps the hierarchy and where to guide the person reading the event. The color contrast of the text and background is also good. This is a really solid concept. Great work!
