Nice roughs! I have to go with "Moon Land". It has a nice color scheme and is easily navigated. Having the navigation on the side is a good choice. I think I would choose a second font for the body copy or just not use the "Bold" on the existing font. Other than that, it looks good.

I like your moonland logo. That is very original. I think you could get a type that has a little less block and also take the hyphens out of your description. It also seems very dark but maybe the moon is dark and mysterious? Selling land on the moon may one day be a viable option and being the designer make it look as appealing as possible...haha!
I am not sure what utopia is so I don't have an opinion on the show however the home page before you pick the show looks like it could use some personality. I couldn't tell right away what it was.
You picked two very different ideas and who knew how cheap it would be to own land on the moon...but I bet the H.O.A.'s are out of this world....haha!

I am really attracted to the moon land design because of the boldness of the logo and the website. The utopia looks ok, but I think the whole concept is overly used even on television. Great job.

Ha! Lunar real estate. A great concept. It's ideas like that that keep me assigning this project.

I also like the Moon Land layout better as well. Both of the designs have a strong and evocative branding that continues throughout the inner pages. But Moon Land's design really compliments the content well. The logo is amusing. Great choice of fonts and layout there. I like the idea of the home page being a view from the Moon and the inner pages being a view from the Earth (lol giftwrapped Moon). The navigation is large and easy to use. I have no trouble following where I am on the website. The design has a large content area where a broad array of objects and text can be displayed. I think the idea of a semi transparent aurora borealis style top bar and button work well. I even think the semi-transparent bars work to keep things organized.

Just a couple of suggestions to really help it. One, you need to choose a new font for your bodycopy. Your homepage bodycopy is very difficult to read. I think it would look much better as a thinner sans-serif type like a regular Helvetica or Arial would be both more readable and more legible. I'd also loose the "Buy Land Now" button in the top right. I think just the big, bold, "Buy Land Now" text you have there with maybe a subtle glow on it will serve as a good call to action. Also, I'd make the black in your footer's gradient transparent so you get the same semi-transparent effect that you have on the top bar repeated in the footer.

Go with Moon Land. With a few tweaks it'll be excellent. And that giftwrapped moon ... lol. LOL, I SAY!

While I absolutely love the color scheme of your Utopia rough, I'm definitely loving the idea of selling moon property. If you can bring the colorfulness of the Utopia concept into the moon rough that'd be great, because as it is right now it's definitely lacking in that department, and while I understand the color scheme might be derived from the moon itself, it seems pretty dreary. You're selling property, you want the customer to be excited and find it attractive! At least, before they realise there's termites in the foundation. I say go with moon, and if you can bring in the bolder elements of Utopia then you're good to go.

Great ideas!
I like the moon website better but both look good.
The website looks well laid out and cleanly organized.
I like the logo you created and the name.

I would add some of the bight blue that you used for the product area
around the rest of the website pages to balance that color out.
Its very bright compared to the rest of the dark themed site.
Good job!

I like your moon real estate idea the best. Your logo is great.

I think there are many different avenues to play around with on this concept. Maybe some images of different craters in the product page. http://www.hq.nasa.gov/office/pao/Histo ... 435dmh.jpg
With captions like ”crater front property”…I don’t know but hopefully you get the idea.

Hi I'm leaning more towards your Moonland design...your layout is well balanced as far as color scheme and how the layout is setup. Your logo fits perfectly and I think your color scheme goes well with it, also! My personal opinion I think your second design is way to bright, which is hard on the eyes and your navigation font is huge, which catches my eye right away but it throws off the layout balance and vocal point. One suggestion that I would make for your first rough is to add some contact info. in your footer for easy access for the user. Other than that great job and I can't to see your final design.
