Very awesome designs, Chris. I personally leaning to the first design more because of the images that you used for the home page. If you can, add at least one of the pages from the second design to add more of an athletic strive. Also, work on the typeface because it doesn't evoke the feeling of buying the product.
But awesome detail and designs. Can't wait to see the finished design.

Hi Chris,
I like the idea you have trying to use Javascript, your brave!
As far as the designs I like the first roughs a little more than the 2nd ones.
I like the photos of the runners with the type you used.
I would try to arrange the font sizes a little better as its not obvious which way to read because of the arrangement and heirarchy of the sizes.
I would add a photo of the clip on on the homepage so you know your not selling shoes
since the photos only show runners and not everyone will know what "clip up" means.
Good start, nice job!

I checked out the link and I think this would be an excellent idea.
I have to go with version 1. I like the line work that you use to describe the color options. More cutting edge and fits more with the product you are selling.
Can’t wait to see how it turns out.

I think I get what you're trying to accomplish here, and it seems like a pretty neat idea. If you manage to incorporate responsive design when a customer clicks from the color options, then all the better. That said, I'm favoring the bold feel of Concept 2, though I do wonder where you'll stick your descriptive text. If you can incorporate some of the text elements from the inner page of Concept 1 I think you'd be good to go.

I like your second design!
The font is great, and it has a interesting movement in the second page.
I also like the illustration on the third page.
Good job!

Interesting,it sounds like someone going to play some unique thingy to amaze us: ).
Cool idea and nice design over all, I like the layout of your version 2 the best, because the dynamic balance through out the page, more clear on what the clip up is and where it goes(My first guess of clip up is an air cushion, air spring or heel pad for sneakers, it surprised me when I found out on your version 2 design). I still not sure how clip up works, but I like your both design, great job! and thank you for sharing the javascript link.
