I feel like the second design is working better for you. I like the layout but not the color... I would bring the purple from the first one, and carry that down to the second.

I think the buttons on the first design would be harder to pull off, but that's just me.

I kind of prefer your second design more. The blue helps the shades pop out more, but I'm not sure how I'm digging the fancy lacy framing around the glasses themselves. Maybe to accent them more (if you want!) maybe just underline them instead? Maybe when you hover your mouse over them! : )

I think I am leaning towards the second home page but the first design overall. I like the simplicity of the home page on the second one, but I like the layout of the first one. I think if you played on working the two together might be better. Good job.
