Hello Everyone!
My name is Chloie and I am currently working towards TMCC’s GA&MT program to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from Nevada State University. I completed my Associates of Applied Science in Graphic Communications at WNC in 2022, and I'm looking forward to expanding my knowledge in graphic design.
I am very interested in learning the functions behind the "add to cart" feature, I fell like it will be challenging to learn but I am looking forward to it.
I think the most challenging part for me will be getting back into the groove of web design since it has been well over 2 years since I've taken GRC 175. I did really enjoy taking GRC 175 so I'm hoping that enjoyment will kick back in once I start remembering the process and everything.
I look forward to seeing what everyone creates, and I hope everyone has a great semester.

Hello class, my name is Alex and an interesting fact about me is that I enjoy jet skiing and paddle boarding, yet I still do not know how to swim or even float. It's something I want to learn but finding classes that teach adults is definitely a challenge. Something that I look forward to learning is brushing up on FileZilla and getting a website uploaded. I struggled a lot for the first web design class, and I find it difficult when I have made websites in the past. Getting some help/learning more on that will be great.

Hi my name is Nancy,
One thing about me is that I love doing crafts like crochet and beaded jewelry.
One thing I find interesting in the Syllabus is the shopping carts installation. I wanted to make myself a site for my crafts so this would be very handy, along with making a wordpress website.
One thing I find may be challenging would be the Parallax Scrolling. I love the look of them, but they sound difficult

Chloie, good to see you are going all the way to the Bachelor's-way to go. I also have a struggle getting in the groove each year with all the concepts-and there are so many of them too! Welcome

Alex, you are brave doing water sports without knowing how to swim. I think the Baring swimming teahcers adults. I know right? There are so many different ways of doing websites, it feels like there is always something 'more', but not to worry, you will nail this! In the syllabus, I found it interesting that we get to use WordPress towards the end of the semester and not just Dreamweaver. I have struggled with Dreamweaver in the past, so refreshing my memory and expanding on my base knowledge will be challenging. I especially think the storefront project will be a challenging project for me. But I'm really excited about the design portion of the projects!
Hi Kristen, I lived in Germany as a teen. The class uses Dreamweaver, and it is great to try to do it that way because you can add that to your resume. If you are good on WordPress, that is a bonus. Welcome

Hello everyone,
My name is Ashton, I'm currently majoring in Graphic Design and plan to get my associates here at TMCC then maybe transfer to UNR for my Bachelors. One interesting thing about me is that I love music, I listen to RnB, Metal, alternative rock, and electronic. I also play guitar and I love writing my own music. I also really like to draw, I love to stipple although it takes forever.
I'm looking forward to working on shopping carts and animation within websites. I wont lie, I'm a little scared about the animations, it sounds quite complicated.

Hello Everyone!
My name is Chloe and I'm currently in the motion graphics and graphic design dual paths. Some things about me when I'm not in school or work, I love photography, hiking, gaming, and playing soccer occasionally. I find the aspect of web design difficult as I'm not the biggest fan of it, but it'll be nice to know and to have under my belt and in my portfolio.
Looking forward to seeing others work in this class!
