Sorry it took so long to do the introduction thing, but if you have had as many classes cancel on you as I have (that being 3); than you might start to understand why it took as long as it did.

So no more delaying let me tell you about myself.

Hi... I'm Zackary Hughes. (Good start)

...

...

(Tell them about yourself!)

OKAY! I'm interested in web design and the graphical arts. I'm really interested in the whole programing side of web design, however, the more I learn about coding the less I'm really sure Dream Weaver is all that useful. Because you could just code what you wanted to do.

What I'm looking forward to:

Using java script to make sites pop, and interactive.

Concerns:

I have Dream Weaver cc 2015 at home will that be okay for doing projects on?

Zackary...

First and foremost...the user handle "stalksyouatnight" ....awesome! I get a whole vampire, I want to love you kinda feel. If you wasn't going for that vibe...embrace it! I dig vampires that are pushy. Stalking just means you care a lot - I get it. I'm with you on the..."wanting to know more web stuff". It's so much to learn and so little time. And I asked same question...does dreamweaver work for all editions, and I was told yes. But ask a professional - this may not work at home

Welcome to GRC 275, Zach. You and I share the same thoughts on Dreamweaver. Once you get good at coding, it's really only useful for prototyping and cross display testing. Actual website building takes place in a code editor of some sort with a browser functioning as the WYSIWYG.

You'll learn plenty of neat jQuery stuff this semester, including how to do some pretty fancy UI stuff along with smooth scrolling and smooth drop down menus and whatever else I can cram in in the time we have alotted.

Give me your best effort and you'll do fine in this class.
