Project 3 Prelim
Project 3 Prelim
Hi Guys, I wanted to create a fake Halloween rave in Reno based on Frankenstein called Bolt & Bass. The color scheme is gothic and green, with cute animations around the page(lighting and pulsing/flickering headings). I also wanted to try out a parallax website design to make the rave's story have a bigger impact.

Love the idea of a halloween rave based on Frankenstein! I like the first set of designs, they really express the spooky vibes of halloween. I also like the idea of the bolts and the electricity passing through them. On the Desktop version are you going to have the navigation across or as a hamburger menu? Was just a bit confused

Hi! I love the concept you have going so far on the first set of designs that is more cool toned and blue. I really enjoy the gothic style font you chose as well on the first one! Overall a really great start and I can't wait to see the finished site!

Nancy, I like your thudding name of Bolt and Bass. I would drop the text down a bit from the mansion, and the opacity of that text box is perfect. I am imagining you will have some unbliebable bolts of lightening between the rods. It is difficult for me to differentiate between the two ideas. You have chosen the perfect font and colors for your event. The slide show is a great way to give information to your user.

Hello Nancy!
Thank you for sharing your visions with us! Halloween is my favorite holiday, so seeing this put a smile on my face today. Anyway, I think that you are off to a great start with this assignment. If I had to choose between the two versions, I really connected with the first version with the tree. I love the colors and the entire concept. I would just suggest that the text be brought down just a little at the top and make the opacity of the box a little darker so that we can clearly read the white text with. Other than that, way to go. I look forward to seeing finished work. Great job!

Hello,
I think your web design is really cool. I think the color of the background image also matches your event well. And I think it's good to have story in your event. Also, I think it's a good idea to invite artists to your event!
