Hi guys!

My event is a not based on a real event. I created a hypothetical event where people can bring all kinds of pets to an event in Reno with special activities and categories. Where you can take your pet to different activities like a playground or competitions.

Let me know which idea you prefer! Also sorry if it's confusing idk how to make each idea be next to each other. So it might be confusing but one idea has no background and one has the paw background.

Hi Kevin,

Love your set of designs that have the paw background its super playful and colorful too! I also like the logo. One thing I would change is making the nav links a different font, not sure if its just me but I had a difficult time understanding what they said.

Hi! I love this concept you have going, it's super fun and playful! The designs that have large paw prints seem to be more eye catching than the small paw prints. The larger prints allows for more color to appear in the design which helps. Overall a really great start and I cant wait ti see the finished site, Good luck!

Kevin, The image of 3 dogs running at eye level is pawsitively capturing, I hope you use it! and if you do, put the text somewhere else such as the solid sky, with different color lettering, not under the dog mouth. In fact in all your designs, you need to move the letters off of colliding with the images. For example if you use the red slide, it is solid, so could host the letters on the slide. If you do a paw background, do it in such a way where the paws are either scaled back opacity, or do not compete with other elements. Such a great event. I am impressed with all of your preliminary work being included!

Hi! I love the giant image on the frontpage, it makes it obvious what the whole website is about. I think that some of the images need to be a little larger so its easier to read, mabe some rearrangement if you want aswell.

Hi Kevin!
These roughs are looking great! The colors work so well for the fun and inviting vibe you're going for! I think i favor option two a little more because it's just a little easier to read the information, the first layout the bright colored background pattern makes some of the type a little hard to read. But with that being said I do really like what the patterned background adds to the design, just something to keep in mind. Great work!

Hi Kevin,
I wish this event was real! I would love to bring my pets to interact and have fun with other pets! My favorite design has to be the one with the paws background. Your color choices create such a fun and friendly brand that really fits your event. I think that your choice of fonts are great and I only have a couple of suggestions. I think that your grey body text should be changed to black and that your nav links font should be changed to the same font as your body font to enhance readability. Other than that, great logo and overall concept! I’m looking forward to seeing final design!

Hi Kevin!

I love your designs!! Dogs!! I love the first it's very fun and playful though I was add a tint to the colors just so they don't make the whole thing too overcrowded! Otherwise it's amazing!

Hi Kevin! Idea 1 with that paws background is the winner for me. It adds a fun colorful vibe, perfect choices with the cute dogs. I think adding boxes behind your text would be easiest because but certainly dropping the opacity of the background would also help. Not sure where you got your images, but they're great!
