introduction
Hi everyone! My name is Kaycee and I am in the Graphics Communications program here at TMCC like many of you. I am graduating in May and hoping to focus on web design. I really want to learn more about how the industry works (hosting, domains etc) and how to produce a quality modern site. I am really excited to learn about the newer web trends like parallax scrolling, adding in animations (background animations, background videos, and motion animations) long scrolling, card layouts, and hamburger menus (three line menu navicons).

Kaycee...
I want to learn it all as well. But you're well on your way to knowing more stuff than I could ever think about. All those listing of items you want to know, I never even heard of! *youtube searches that list*

Re: introduction
Kaycee, welcome! I can tell you, you'll know more about hosting and domains than you thought possible once you finish up here. You'll also know much more about how to be a practicing web designer once all is said and done. I'll also get you up to date on the latest design trends. I don't cover animation all that much in this class since that's a separate GRC class, but we will cover how to integrate animations into a website. You'll also know how to do a bunch of crazy UI stuff in jQuery as well.
As long as you work hard and keep up the same kind of output I saw in GRC 175, you won't have a problem succeeding in this class.
