Project 2 rough shopping cart

Post by Sierragirlnv »

Hello there,

I have been struggling with going from a PC to a Mac and I've had more tech issues than I have ever experienced before.... Let's just say that I have lost but it's not gone all of the work I have ever done in the GRC program.. ugh. Anywho here is my revised rough (but not complete) I had to rebuild my roughs as well.

I'm totally digging this layout I love the pictures your getting for this website, they are gorgeous.
Design may be king, but typography is the crown.

The whole site continues to be beautiful, I like how right away you're informing the client as they're browsing the packages rather than having to click on each individual package, giving the impression that they really are working with a professional. While I do like your typography choices, what I suggest is playing with the font weights a little more. As it is, the weight of the packages headers is barely thicker than the package info, making it seem as if it's just one long continuous list. I look forward to the end result!

Hi Tiffani! OMGosh girl :o ...I'm sooo sorry about all of your computer issues and especially losing all of your GRC program files :( what a nightmare...well I absolutely love everything about your website! :-) Your well-balanced layout is easy to navigate through, all of the photo packages are listed with details & prices, I love that you added a small shopping cart button next to each package for easy access, & your logo, imagery & typography all go well together. One thing that I would suggest is darken your white box to the right a little because I think the nav and main paragraph are getting lost in the background. I cannot wait to see your final website! Great Job!

Hi Tiffani,
I know exactly what your going through. That sucks!
Hopefully you will recover your files. As for your rough design...

I like the photo but maybe make it smaller to give the product information some more room.
the type is hard to read on the photo so maybe try to play with that.
I think the layout needs to be a little more thought out as its kind of cluttered.
Nice start, especially with everything you are going through with your computers.

Aww man, losing everything really sucks! I hope you are able to salvage what you can!

As for your design, I love the layout. I think it really is coming along well. One thing I might suggest is segmenting off the additional services and labeling them as such. The way it looks right now, if I purchase number 4, would I still have to purchase the twilight shoot scheduling on top of it? (as an example). Just dividing them from basic services to additional services would really help differentiate a bit. Looks good so far!

I like the photo you used!
On your navigation box, all fonts are got lost, so you can change the opacity of the background.
Also, I would like to see more interesting font.

Other than that, I like it.
Good job!
