Hi Danielle,

Great choice in inspiration. My favorite of your two is the bottom design. I feel like the imagery, colors, and typography really blend together well! Stick with that sort of calming, soft feel of things. Plus, that little light/lantern thing hovering between the top headline is way cool. A cool idea would to give it some kind of outer glow, that will really make it visually interesting. Aside from that, I think you have a solid concept to go off of. I'd also consider making the main body copy justified, but that's my personal opinion. Nice work!

I really like your rough 2.
I like the texture you used for the background. Looks great!
Also, the design is very clean and organized. The navigation bar is easy to use.
