I'm going to have to go with the second option at this point. There's just no time now for me to be able to make this website go the first route.
There's a lot on the designs that I still want to change but I wanted to share what I worked on this afternoon for the second design. I basically want a textured background, but I'm thinking maybe less, and less brown/red as well. The lace is temporary, just to show that there would be some kind of border on the sides, until I can render out some nice looking staches. The type is temporary too.
