Dire to our ecosystems, fungi also pose great benefits to human health and prosperity. Snowball seeks to start a healing revolution across the globe by selling healing mushrooms and sharing information on this amazing fungus.
The name Snowball originated from one of our favorite mushrooms, Calvatia gigantea, or the Snowball mushroom. In addition, our founders were fascinated with mycelium growth, the starter fungus that creates web-like networks in the soil, the first signs of mushrooms- before fruiting occurs. Mycelium is a shocking white color, that fruits all types of mushrooms, in all types of colors. Combing these important stages of growth with the synonym to "mushroom", our company was born. Arguably the most important factor to fungi, their ability to grow and spread throughout nature, so the name "Snowball" fit perfectly.
