Involvment

As a “Pharmacy Dropout” from Rutgers University, one of the most notorious areas of interest of Marc has been Education. Marc has been always an active member in the community to – despite the irony – motivate students to graduate and be successful in life. Marc has identified that there tend to be a relation between unsuccessful students and a hostile environment. For so, as Philanthropist, Marc has allocated resources and efforts to solve problems hovering around education and children.

Tikva Children's Home

Is an orphanage home located in Odessa (Ukrain) founded by Marc Ecko in 1993 (as per Marc’s LinkedIn profile). According to the organization’s website:

Tikva is a rescue aid and educational organization saving the lives of at-risk Jewish children and relieving the suffering of impoverished Jewish families in Odessa, Ukraine.

Unlimited Justice

Although no strictly personal, the organization is (or was) a corporate effort by Ecko Unltd and led by Marc Ecko himself. The organization’s goal was to stop corporal punishment in public schools throughout the United States.

Sweat Equity

After selling Marc Ecko Enterprises in 2009, Marc Ecko decided to focus on this social entrepreneurship program that he initiated to build professional collaboration for young people under disadvantaged circumstances to unlock their creativity and potential for their career paths. His main argument is that the US public education system fails too many students whose passions don’t fit int traditional education fields.

His solution was to create an organization that provided a “ hands-on” outlet for experimentation, which is not commonly available for middle and high school students. Ending in a massive student’s potential loss.

XQ Institute

Started as a hands-on action to revolutionize the US public high school system providing free, high quality education that focuses on preparing its students for College, Career, and Life.

Marc Ecko (professionally known as Dr. Marc Ecko) has been involved in the organization since 2017 and is one of the most relevant people within the organization.
